Volvo Car Malaysia together with its newly appointed dealer, Motion Beyond, recently launched Volvo Setia Alam, the latest Volvo 3S centre (Sales, Service, and Spare Parts) in Setia Alam, Selangor strengthening the brand’s foothold in Greater Kuala Lumpur.
The opening affirms Volvo Car Malaysia’s commitment to better service its customers by expanding its dealer network and put in place measures to improve overall customer experience.
“Since we started the transformation plan, we have seen a tremendous upvote from our customers based on the surveys conducted. As a people-centric brand, this is an important indicator that we are heading in the right direction,” said Lennart Stegland, the Managing Director of Volvo Car Malaysia.
To date, Volvo Car Malaysia has 11 dealerships across the country with 5 servicing customers within Greater Kuala Lumpur. This year, Volvo Car Malaysia intends to secure more locations throughout the country, especially in areas where it is not represented.
“The most important thing for us (Volvo Car Malaysia) is to secure competent dealer-partners that are passionate about the brand and ensure that they are consistently representing the brand in the right way – this is our promise to our customers,” added Stegland.
Strategically located at the border between Shah Alam and Klang, Volvo Setia Alam will adhere to Volvo’s global showroom and service standards called Volvo Retail Experience (VRE) standard – Volvo’s customer-centric and Scandinavian-inspired approach of selling cars.
“Both Klang and Shah Alam are matured townships with great market potential for luxury car brands. We are happy to be a part of the Volvo Cars and we are confident that Volvo’s new model line-up will appeal to this demographic,” said Mr Joshua Lee, the Managing Director of Motion Beyond.
With close to 15 years of experience within the automotive industry, Lee is a respected figure in Setia Alam.
Volvo Setia Alam showroom opens from 9:00 am till 7:00 pm from Monday to Saturday and from 10:00 am to 5:30 pm on Sundays and public holidays. The service centre opens from Monday to Saturday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm and closes on Sundays and public holidays.
